"Cock-eyed" Frank Loving

Frank Loving was a professional gambler that was involved in two famous Wild West Shootouts, the Long Branch Saloon Shootout and the Trinidad, Colorado Shootout. He walked away from the first one.. the second, he would not. Described as a cool and desperate character, he rubbed shoulders with famous western characters such as Doc Holliday, Bat Masterson and Wyatt Earp. 

I am still working on our deep dive on Bass Reeves, it’s going to be an amazing series, but I want to do it correctly so it’ll take some time. I’m also going to run a little mini series on Indian Territory before the Reeves series. Indian Territory is a huge part of Bass Reeves life and I think it’s important that people understand Indian Territory, the history of the tribes and the history of the Territory.
