Howdy and Welcome back to Wild West Deep Dives.

Last week, we discussed Bass’s childhood, his time as a slave, his escape to Indian Territory, becoming a Deputy United States Marshal and some his first years on the force, including his shootout and trick he pulled on Bob Dozier.

We just got our feet wet last week with the life of Bass Reeves. This episode we will discuss some more arrest, the Brunter brothers incident, some work drama and his legendary shootout with Jim Webb.
